2013 Comes to a Close

With this being the last day of 2013, I wanted to wish everyone happy holidays and happy new year. Where the time has gone this year, I am unsure. It certainly flew by. I hope all of you are spending the holiday season with friends and family. It is said that the holiday season is a time to remember friends and family but I would encourage all of you to remember them year round. It is difficult to find good people in this world and if you can find a good friend and someone dependable, then be sure to hold on to them. Our time in this world is short and we never know when our candle will burn out. It is important to let our loved ones know that they are in our thoughts and are loved, just not during the holiday season but year round.

With respect to the blog, I want to thank each and every one of you who will be reading this message. This blog is something I wanted to do for many years. It has brought me more joy and happiness than I could have ever thought. To interact with so many of you and to have such positive responses to my writings has been an honor for me. And the blog itself – it has taken off faster than I could have ever imagined. And for that, I say thank you. Thank you for following me, reading me, and sharing me with your friends, family, and coworkers. I am glad you have found my writings interesting and I hope you will continue to do so in the future. This blog has already opened avenues for me that would have been otherwise unavailable and I hope that continues for 2014.

Be safe, happy new year, and again – thank you.
