2014 Comes to a Close

And the years keep rolling on...

And the years keep rolling on…

We are now two days away from the start of 2015. This year went by quickly. And like each passing year, they seem to go by a little quicker each time. Gone are the days when the summers seemed to last forever and I knew the definition of some long forgotten words called “bored” and “nothing to do.” This year was filled with a dichotomy of heartache and frustration as well as good times, new friends, and adventures. I’m a year older but a year wiser with a year’s worth of growth.

As cruel as the world can be sometimes, I’m always amazed with how thoughtful total strangers on the internet can be with a kind word, encouragement, and a smile (well at least an emoticon smile!). And for that, I want to thank all of you – whether you read one single post, all of my posts, made one comment or no comments at all. I want to say thank you for being you. Thank you for sharing your stories of accomplishment, joy, sadness, and grief. All were inspiring and made me reflect on my own life in some fashion.

Whatever you celebrate, or whether you celebrate nothing, I hope your holiday was full of reflection, joy, and shared with those you love.

Best wishes to you and yours in 2015!
