Midsummer Night – Off and Running!

So tonight was opening night for Stage Door Productions showing of the Shakespeare classic “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” As I mentioned, I am playing King Theseus.

We had ALMOST 200 PEOPLE show up tonight for a Thursday! WOW! Even a couple of dogs were in the audience! Check out this photo showing you the setup:

And if you can’t make the show, well at least check out these dress rehearsal stills courtesy of Stephen Rummel Photography!

      • Of course, I enjoyed the photographs. Thank you, JC for doing your part to keep theatre alive. That was something that’s so much a part of my culture, growing up. It means a lot to me that there are people out there who don’t only watch TV. Two hundred people showed up because they are awesome and because you all rock.

  1. Wow…I wish I could be a part of this…I love Shakespeare. (My mom tells me- I would have married him had he been alive now 😛 )

      • Hahaha…the problem is that the other Shakespeare don’t write like him.. 😀
Here in India, it is difficult to find a good theatrical group that is interested in Shakespeare, we already have innumerable local languages…. 😥

      • Haha. Good point!

I understand. Well, I hope the right opportunity arises for you, or perhaps you will be granted the opportunity to travel and live abroad.
